Funded detox – What is a tailored medical detox? Let’s break it down.

Tailored means the detox will be designed to be the correct detox for you and your needs. This will be decided by our doctors at the rehab centre. This is based on certain:

  • How old you are.
  • How long you have had your addiction.
  • What you are addicted to.
  • Your health.
  • Your age.
  • Your medical history.

Funded detox – This is just a few factors which determine how your detox will be tailored.

Medical means you will not be left on your own to deal with your detox. The centre under the doctor’s orders will issue drugs to help you get through your addiction. There are many different drugs available for different addictions. They will also issue drugs to help you restore your natural sleep pattern, and restore your appetite.

Detox in the drug and alcohol industry means removing all the drug or alcohol from the body. There is no surgery involved, so don’t panic. You will be given medicine to replace you having a drink or taking drugs. This will stop the cravings, and make your detox as easy as possible. Your detox will normally take anything between 7 to 14 days, and in some cases can be much longer depending on physical health, and other factors. Never try to detox on your own without medical help as it can bring on a fit or seizure, and in some cases can be fatal.

Funded Detox, A detox alone does not normally stop your addiction long term. It is just the start of the process. You will need help afterwards. The reason for this is you need to get over the physiological aspects of addiction. This is done at the centres in the way of counselling and group sessions etc. Why not call our team today and we can help. We never charge for all our help and advice. We can also take you through the steps for getting Free Rehab as well. Telephone our team now on  0845 3881 543. We are here 24 hours a day and welcome your call.
